Uni Part® HP® 2600, 2605, 1600 metal replacement pins feature flanged heads to
prevent the pins from being inserted too far. Metal pins are configured for the
contact side of the cartridge. Plastic pins are designed for the drive side of
the cartridge.

For pin removal, there are 2 cartridge pins in HP 2600, one is metal and the
other is plastic. The best method to remove the OEM metal pin is to drill a hole
beside the pin and use a pair of plier to pull it out.
