ROHS POLICY
Commonly referred as the “Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive” or RoHS
was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. The RoHS directive took effect on July 1, 2006, and is required to be enforced and become law in each member state. RoHS II became effective on January 2, 2013. UNINET ROHS COMPLIANCE
UniNet offers electrical and electronic equipment that qualifies under the RoHS II directive in two out of ten categories. These two categories are... • Category 3: IT and telecommunications equipment (chips, etc.) • Category 6: Electrical and electronic tools (vacuums, etc.) Our products meet applicable requirements of RoHS and ROHS II, and we actively work
with our suppliers to identify components, materials, and processes that comply with RoHS requirements.
